Braiding Fundamentals
This module builds the technical foundation for clean and structured braiding. It focuses on the mechanics that make braids look balanced and controlled: hand position, strand movement, parting accuracy, tension, symmetry, and consistent braid shape.
The module includes classic braid structures such as three-strand braids, French braids, Dutch braids, fishtail braids, reverse fishtail braids, rope twists, and five-strand braids. It also introduces decorative and pattern-based techniques, including lace braids, chain-style braids, star-shaped patterns, crossed braids, tribal-inspired layouts, heart-shaped designs, leaf-inspired patterns, infinity braids, ponytail sectioning, and braid decoration with accessories.
The result is a strong technical base for creating cleaner, more controlled, and more polished braided hairstyles. The module also includes braid care, wear-time guidance, and safe removal principles for natural-hair braided styles.
