Double‑Ended Braids Lab

Build the complete workflow for creating and installing Double-Ended Braids sets. The focus is on choosing the right synthetic material, preparing and sectioning it correctly, creating balanced braid pieces, finishing the ends, and processing the set so it holds its shape during wear.

You will practice making a full Double-Ended Braids set, creating voluminous Senegalese Twists, forming four-strand wavy braids, and heat-setting the finished pieces. Installation methods include the standard technique, the Scandinavian method, and installation with a crochet hook. The module also covers head sectioning before installation, proper removal, care during wear, and safe handling of reusable braid sets.

The practical result is the ability to create full, structured, reusable braid sets that add length, color, and volume without chemical impact on the natural hair. The module develops precision, balance, control of material weight, cleaner installation, and safer removal.
